Auntie Clothing Designers of the World Unite!!!

We take a trip to Kohl’s and discover ploy of the Auntie Clothing Designers of the World. Darcie shows us the thoughts of a typical female shopper. We pick up the kids and head off to Target where we are forced to drive the Hummer of shopping carts. We try on small hats. What’s the deal with small hats?… or do I have a huge head?… probably a huge head.

Parents of the Year!

We received an award at COSTCO for being “Parents of the Year!” Because we feed our kids fruit “eh-hem ice cream” before dinner. Ginger takes over the vlog and does a better job that I do. I discover Brigham is drinking about 8.5 gallons of milk a day. I head out to the college to take my Fencing class final. Darcie reads a book to Brigham who actually pays attention. Brigham tries to provide voice-over for the vlog.

Sweet Cakery

Dar had her c-section staples out today and while there she explains what she was thinking last night in her sleepy stupor. Apparently the baby in our bed isn’t ours. We make a little stop at a new cakery called Nana D’s and get sold a knock off pillow pet. Frank and Sherry (Dar’s Aunt and Uncle) bring over an incredible dinner and we have a family gift exchange.

Sara the Elf

Bah Humbug!!! Ginger is lacking some Christmas Spirit. Santa personally delivered an Elf on the Shelf to our door and she thought it was just a toy elf. It took some serious convincing to get her to finally admit that the elf is only pretending to be a toy while we’re awake. Dar and I spent about 45 minutes cracking that nut, and let me tell you, she’s a tough one.

Ambulance ride to the ER

What a rough day. Ginger has been coughing for a few days but last night she got really bad so this morning I took her to urgent care. The Doc at there sent us by ambulance to the ER… yep, the Emergency Room… by way of AMBULANCE! Ginger was in good spirits the whole time and I think she actually enjoyed it.

C’mon, it’s a holiday rite of passage!

Just another day of messin’ around at the CottonPatch. The kids are doing great with Hazel. Brigham is into Hazel’s hats, he’s so funny. While Dar was preoccupied with Hazel, I took my kids on whip cream straight from the can ride. Shhhh, don’t tell Dar. Ginger teaches me how to do Crayon Barbie makeup. Brigham tries to reclaim his old car-seat.

Baby Cotton gets a Name!!!! YAY!

Going home today, going home today, we get to go home today!!! Yippie!! The hospital isn’t my favorite place to stay, and that chair thing they call a “daddy bed” is not a bed at all. I’m so looking forward to my own bed! WOO HOO! We decided on a name for the baby girl too. It fits her just right. Do us a favor and subscribe to our YouTube Channel.

Hotel Hospital

Baby Girl gets a bath, her first one… at about 2 in the morning. Why is the night nurse in charge of the first bath and why do they do it at 2 in the morning? What are we going to name this kid? We had boy and girl names for the other two all ready before they were born. We knew this one was gonna be a girl and we still can’t decide on a name. This is a big decision… I hope we come up with something good soon, I don’t wanna call her Baby Girl anymore.

BABY DAY!!!

Baby Girl Cotton has arrived. Got up at 4:00 am, to the hospital at 5:45 am, Baby Girl Cotton born at 8:19 am. The rest of the day was spent in a sleepy stupor. Man, this is one cute baby! She’s so mild-tempered so far. We’re both wondering where all of her hair came from. She was born with as much hair as The Boy. Welcome to our family little girl, we love you and we can’t wait to get to know you.

She’s gonna be all red with dots

The folks at the office threw me the best baby shower I’ve ever had! All kinds of great gifts and plenty cupcakes and then I sit down with Ginger and talk with her about her expectations for the new baby. I can’t believe we’re gonna have a new baby tomorrow!!! HOLY MACARON!!!!! We’re gonna have a new baby tomorrow!?!
