MYSTERY BITS OF THE NURSERY FLOOR

I had a half day at work so I called up a friend and arranged a play date for Ginger. Annie came over and we all went to the park to fly the kite. It was too windy or something… not sure. Ginger and Annie put on a “Beformance” with singing and dancing. Early bath where Ginger squirts Brigham with a toy frog. Everyone goes to my basketball game. Darcie wrangles the kids in the nursery at church. We didn’t win. We placed third in our region… not bad for our first time.

CRAZY HAIR DAY

Ginger is overloaded with energy and she dances to get it out. It was Crazy Hair Day at her school. There were clouds in the sky so she insisted it must be raining… too bad it wasn’t. We discuss how Crazy Hair Day went at her school and all of the cool hairstyles. Anqi100 made a SUPER SWEET video for us so we show some of it. Thank you Anqi100. I can’t believe we didn’t tell you this before but Darcie’s purse and makeup was stolen from her car last weekend! They didn’t get her wallet though.

I’M GONNA GET YOU!!!

Darcie takes Brigham and Hazel to the doctor to get their SHOTS! Ouch!!! They are the only patients at the office so Brigham can run around all he wants. NO CRYING!!! Brigham and Hazel didn’t cry when the got their shots! Super easy doctor visit! New recipe for dinner, corndog muffins. Brigham chases Ginger around the kitchen island. Ginger has to clean up a clothes mess. Brigham gets silly with the dogs. Pixel loves tummy rubs! We review “King Bidgood’s in the Bathtub” It’s my favorite bedtime story because it’s not too long and I get to do silly voices.

BABY HITS THE BOTTLE

Brigham and Ginger have and early bath cause they were playing in the mud. I give Brigham a righteous mohawk! We break out the Martinelli’s during dinner for no special reason, except that Dar loves that stuff and we didn’t want it to go to waste. Brigham LOVES the fizzy apple juice, it makes him giggle! We take the family to Target. Ginger made her own list and everything she wants just happens to be on her list.

HANDSOMEST BOY EVER!!!

HAPPY EASTER!

Ginger squishes Brigham’s face and says he looks like a girl. Brigham has flexible little legs. THE EASTER BUNNY CAME!!!! There are baskets and eggs, YAY! Today is the day Dar and I sing in the quartet at Church. Apparently there are “NNMs” in the eggs. What is it about Church that makes kids want to scream? Ginger and Dar dye eggs. Hazel jumps whenever Darcie claps. Great Grandma and Great Grandpa send stuffed animals for the kids. Brigham is so sweet. He loves his little sister. Brigham puts a bucket on his head… kids!

SAFETY GOGGLES FOR COOKING!?!

Darcie makes SUPER FESTIVE deviled eggs that she found on Pinterest. Hazel is adorable as usual! Darcie takes cooking very seriously and dons her safety goggles for the occasion. Brigham LOVES balls! He runs around the house saying “ball… Ball… ball… BALL, BALL, BALL!” We go to my Grandpa Cotton’s house for a easter-eve dinner. Brigham is terrified of uncle Joe until Joe offers up a peace pickle. The kids dance in THE COOLEST OFFICE EVER! Grandpa C sells DJ equipment and has an office decked out with DJ gear. We play with some cool building blocks and try some pop rocks. Oh yeah… did I mention that Brigham is TERRIFIED of Joe?

It's kite day!!! Where's the wind?

It's kite day!!! Where's the wind?

COME ON YOU STINKIN’ WIND!

Ginger and I play at the park. We went to fly the kite but there was hardly any wind… stinking wind! Ginger picks a flower with all kinds of bugs on it. The wind messes with us.Ginger climbs all over me and invents a new game. Hazel is so cute! We practice with Reid Portia for our easter quartet. Ginger dresses up as a princess.
