YES! Date night is here! Tara agreed to do a trial run of the kids sleeping at her house because I’ll be staying with Dar and the new bundle of joy for a few days when she arrives. I wonder if the crack down on liquids and carry-ons in the airlines has carried over to stork travel? The liquids’ll be a problem but I’m pretty sure she’ll be traveling light. I’ll ask her how customs was when she arrives. Back to the happenings of the evening. G had a turkey-day feast at school. Dar made green bean casserole and stuffing so that’s pretty much what she ate. G is a stuffing fiend! They made these cute indian hats.
Dar asked Ginger to circle five items in the target catalogue that she really wanted for Christmas. G hit her five item limit on the top half of the first page. Did she stop there? Let me just say that I’m surprised her pen didn’t run out of ink.
Brigham was helping.
After dinner and bath we took the kids to Auntie’s house and opened the door just enough to shove the kids inside and slam it before peeling away. That’s not completely true, it actually felt weird to know that we weren’t gonna see them for the rest of the night. It was a real treat to be out together and not have a screaming boy that we can’t feed fast enough. We both tried stuff that we’ve never had before and it was a success!
